Use Cases

This module contains the use case documentation for this SmartSE cluster.

Each use case is described in a dedicated page and covers:

  • Identification – unique ID and short title

  • Author – who created this use case

  • Purpose – the underlying "why"—the long-term, intrinsic, and foundational reason behind the use case

  • Goal / Objective – what the use case aims to show or achieve

  • Short Description – a brief description that states what the user wants to be able to do

  • Benefit – what benefit will be derived from successfully implementing this use case

  • User Stories – any relevant user stories that provide additional context or requirements for this use case

  • Pre-requisites – what is needed to implement this use case, such as simulation models, parametrization, requirements test cases, etc., and whether they are available or how to obtain them

  • Know-How / Information – what know-how or information is needed to implement this use case and/or demonstrator

  • Stakeholders & Actors – who initiates or benefits from the use case

  • Pre- and Post-conditions – required initial state and expected outcome

  • Trigger – what starts the use case

  • Main Flow – step-by-step description of the nominal scenario

  • Alternative / Exception Flows – deviations from the main flow

  • Connections to other Use Cases – links to related use cases

  • Related Models & Artefacts – links to relevant entries in the Models documentation

  • Open Points – any open questions, assumptions, or comments related to this use case
